The Opening and Junior Shirt Presentation Night ran amazingly smoothly and was a huge success for the club on many different levels.

The Committee was stunned by the amount of help on the ground to get things running so perfectly with so many parents and players chipping in. We would like to give a special thanks to the following people:

  • Matty Adamczyk, Prov 3 SE First player for providing 600 sausages at a bargain price
  • Phil, Wendy and Ellen David (U16 girls) for their efforts all night wherever and whenever they were required
  • Steve Katona, Treasurer, for stocking and restocking during the week before and also regularly on the night as required
  • Co Luu, Secretary, for getting the shirt presentations running so fluidly
  • Angela & Renato Minuzzo (U9) and Leigh Harris (U11) for cooking no less than 600 sausages!
  • Amanda Flewker-Barker (U12) for running a World Cup Raffle. Note: We are still looking for Dara Lazic who won the raffle!
  • Jackie Cousland, Debbie & John Macleod for their help behind the bar

Finally, it was great that the Prov 3 SE Firsts and U21 Reserves both managed to put on 1-0 and 2-1 wins on the first ever home game for the men’s teams under lights for the home crowd! It’s an excellent start to the season for those guys.
