Since registration opened this year the Redbacks have been promoting the FFV run Boys FC tournament which will take place in Bendigo over the weekend of March 13 and 14, 2010 as part of the club’s pre-season football program.
Boys FC is a two-day round-robin tournament for boys aged between 10 and 15, with teams playing in a 7-a-side competition which runs in each of the six age groups – U11 through to U16.
The club is very pleased to be able to present two strong teams at this years tournament – an Under 11 team and an Under 12 team.
The Under 11s play 30 min halves, the U12s play a mix of 30 and 40 minute halves.
The Club wishes the coaches and players the best of luck in their tournament preparation leading up the event at Epsom Huntly Recreation Reserve and we’re sure the boys will represent the club in the most professional manner that we’ve come to expect from them.
