2021 Season partial refunds

Dear Eltham Redbacks Community,

Thank you for your patience whilst the ERFC Committee worked through the administration of calculating partial refunds of registration fees paid during the 2021 season.

As per last year, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant financial impact on all sporting associations across Victoria and, as a not-for-profit community sporting club, Eltham Redbacks FC has not been immune to such financial strain.

In determining the position on refunds for this season, the Committee has waited for the recently released Refund Policy from the governing body (Football Victoria) and aligned our approach appropriately. This has required careful consideration to assist as many of our members families as possible whilst also balancing the need to ensure the long-term financial viability of the club.

The following refund amounts can now be returned to our members and the Committee asks members to nominate their preferred refund option using the form in the link below:

Refund Amounts:
Spiderlings – $40
Sat program U5-U7 – $50
Miniroos and Junior Boys and Girls – $90
JBNPL – New players (who paid full fees in 2021) – $250
JBNPL – Returning players (who rolled their 2020 season refund forward to 2021) – $150
Reserves Men and Women – $90

Refund Options:
1. I’d like my refund deposited back into a bank account nominated by me; or
2. I’d like to donate my refund to the club to help ensure its continued financial viability; or
3. I’d like to receive a partial refund and donate the balance to the club.

NOTE:
• Please confirm your preferred refund option by 31st October 2021. The link will not be available to process refunds passed this date.
• The above refund amounts have considered costs incurred to date including building funds, operating costs, games played, coaches fees, ground costs, team entry fees, etc
• As you can appreciate, with such a large member base, administration of refunds/donations is a huge undertaking for the Committee. We will endeavour to process all requests by 17th November 2021.
• Requests emailed directly to the Committee will not be actioned.
• Requests are final and any ‘change of mind’ will not be accepted.
